René Peters is currently Director Gas Technology at TNO, Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research. He is responsible for public private collaboration on innovation in the area of gas transport and storage, LNG, biogas, hydrogen and offshore energy. He is leading the Geo Energy Innovation program under TKI New Gas, also board member of IRO, associated of the supply industry in offshore oil and gas and renewables (www.iro.nl) and World Energy Council NL (www.worldenergycouncil.nl), advisor to the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate on metrology.
He is also the focus group leader for Offshore Energy in the ERC community.
Jan Prins is working as Global Account Manager at Siemens Energy and has a Global Headquarter roll and is based in the Netherlands. With his team he is responsible for the Global Energy, related New Energy activities for e.g. Renewable, Energy & Utilities, Geothermal, Petro-Chemical, Bio markets,Internet of Things (IOT) and Digitalization He reports directly to Siemens Energy AG Headquarters Vertical Market Management Energy in Germany.

Barthold Schroot is Strategic Advisor Energy Transition at EBN, focusing on EBN’s contribution to the energy transition. He is responsible for providing advice to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate and for exploring the new options in the energy transition such as green gas, hydrogen, subsurface energy storage and ccs.
Before joining EBN in 2013 Barthold worked at TNO as a geophysicist and project manager, both in commercial applied research projects and R&D, relating to E&P and CCS. From 2006 he was Head of TNO’s Advisory Group for the Ministry of Economic Affairs, which provides the ministry with advice on all matters regarding the Dutch Mining Act. In this capacity energy policies and the public private corporation in the Netherlands in the energy domain became more and more important.
Koenraad van Hasselt was until recently Head of political affairs and media relations at TenneT Holding BV, after having served as TenneT's Head of Communications for seven years.
With teams operating from Arnhem, Berlin and Brussels, he was reponsible for stakeholder management and advocacy on important topics for TenneT, such as sector coupling, energy legislation, financing the energy transition, onshore and offshore grid expansion, digitalisation and the development of North Sea wind power.
Before he joined TenneT in 2013, Koenraad was a self-employed consultant and interim manager, focusing on corporate branding and reputation management. He is an experienced professional in corporate communications, with international positions as a communications director in various business sectors, such as energy, FMCG (FrieslandCampina) telecommunications (KPN), electronics (Canon, Philips), and chemicals (AkzoNobel). In addition, Koenraad has served on the Boards of various professional associations and non-profit organisations.
He is a strategic thinker, with a keen eye for detail and practical implementation. Koenraad adds value to organisations by focusing on the stakeholder perspective ('outside in') and internal alignment ('inside out') as levers for positioning and long term value creation. He typically challenges organisations to answer fundamental questions on their 'why, what and how'.
Marlou Bergboer is the Programme Manager Energy Transition for Shell in the Netherlands. She is very committed to play an active role ensuring we, as a company and society, will move towards a Net Zero World.
Prior to her current role, Marlou held various positions for Shell, in Project Management, Development and Business Transformation both in The Netherlands as well as internationally.
Marlou is based in the Hague and holds an MSc in Mechanical engineering from Twente University and a MTech in Petroleum Engineering from Curtin University in Australia.
Gisele Widdershoven is Partner in Deloitte Risk Advisory & the Power, Utilities and Renewables (PU&R) lead and has over 20 years’ experience in the national/international Energy, Oil &Gas, Utilities, Chemicals and Natural Resources companies. She holds a MBA in Sustainability Management of SUMAS Switzerland. Before Deloitte, she was Managing Director Cyber Security Natural Resources Benelux lead at a Top 3 International Consultancy.
She has worked in UK, USA, France, Germany, Italy, Latin America, MENA and the Netherlands.
She is an advocate and executer of the energy transition by leading major international transformation programs within the Netherlands and EMEA. In her current role she assists PU&R clients and major Industrial clients, via the broader expertise of Deloitte to establish responsible and sustainable businesses in the following domains: Sustainability, Renewable Energy, Capital Projects Lifecycle, Financing, Compliance, Digitalization, IT/OT/ IoT/Cybersecurity. She has been working at IOCs, NOCs and international utilities as C-Suite advisor and Executive Sponsor for major programs. At the same time, she is known as prolific writer and speaker at international conferences.
She also leads the Energy Scale-Up Ecosystem Initiative within Deloitte, providing advice on organizational growth, while strengthening the ecosystem partnership and innovation.
