MOVING ONE STEP FURTHER WITH DEVELOPMENTS IN ENERGY STORAGE
Last week the Oil & Gas Reinvented Community organized its 9th event! The central theme was The Future Perspective of Energy Storage and Conversion. Speakers from various market sectors analyzed and explained the possibilities of energy storage. Guest speaker, Serge van Gessel from TNO put forth the following: “The business cases (for energy storage) are there, but they are also challenging. I hope to exchange these ideas with operators from the oil and gas industry here today.
Our working groups were heavily debating new ideas and processes to ensure an efficient transition into the new energies policy for 2050. Most notably, our Young Professionals working group! The members of this working group approached energy transition from a macroeconomic and a business financial perspective to assess the viability of specific innovative projects. “You can’t innovate by yourself, you need the rest”
– Bart Cornelissen (Deloitte)
The Oil & Gas Reinvented Community would like to thank all speakers for sharing their knowledge on big data and for understanding the need to share ideas. More importantly, we thank you, our participants! Coming from various market sectors, you ensure that ideas are critically assessed from all angles to come to feasible ready-to-implement projects. Thank you all and we hope to see you again at our next event on 9 November 2017!
